We follow the construction spend rate of the US education industry; using the US Census Bureau Construction Spending figures released the first day of every month. We encourage our colleagues in the education facilities industry to respond to Census Bureau-retained data gathering contractors in order to contribute to the accuracy of the report.
A reminder, the 2019 annual meeting for the Joint Committee on Food Equipment is being held on August 21-22 at the NSF International Headquarters in Ann Arbor MI.

In order to make for a productive meeting, we ask that you submit an issue or information paper for items you wish to be included in the meeting agenda.
Submit an issue paper for items involving changes or an update to the NSF/ANSI Food Equipment Standards. This must include specific proposed language.
Submit an information paper if you have information, research or other news that would be of interest to this committee.
Issue and information paper forms are also attached. Please submit the applicable form including your contact information and nature of the issue, concern or information. Forward the completed copy to me for inclusion in the meeting agenda.
All issue and information papers must be submitted by End of Business Friday, July 26th 2019 to be listed on the agenda.
