As one condition for accreditation, academic engineering programs must provide a combination of scientific coursework, design experience and facility with technical standards that so-called “Capstone Projects” provide. Accordingly, ASTM International offers a limited number of $500 project grants to university students to help cover the cost of their Capstone/student design projects. Application deadline is October 31st.
