Education communities are highly regulated; much of which is accomplished with privately developed standards incorporated by reference into local, state and federal laws. However. the need for public access to these documents challenges the business model of organizations who must invest in creating them. Today we provide an update on how ANSI is managing the competing requirements of public access and intellectual property protection.
