Bruin Café

Serving coffee in the morning, and wine at night, a “Brown Cafe” recalls Dutch “gezellig”; built with dark wood paneling, low lighting, and classic architectural detail. They are  located buildings dating back to the 1200’s.  The ancestral gathering place nearest the Grote Markt — “De Drie Gezusters” — is named after the three daughters of Peter Stuyvesant IV, descendent of the former governor of New York.
