This Guide is intended to serve as a single point of reference relative to the worldwide electric vehicle requirements landscape as it was at the time of this data collection (September 2013). The document captures, based on the information provided by Contracting Parties and other members of the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations, the existence and extent of regulations relating to critical EV attributes including any standards that are available for voluntary compliance.
