Education communities–specifically research colleges and universities–are stewards of 100’s of elevators.  The cost of building them ~$50,000 to $150,000 per floor–and cost of the staff needed to operate, maintain and program interoperability software is another #WiseCampus cost we try to front-run.   Today we update our understanding of the moment in regulations; taking time to examine state-level exceptions and adaptations of generally accepted best practice.
