Gasson Hall was designed by Charles Donagh Maginnis in the Gothic Revival style and completed in 1913. It is located on the highest point on the campus, overlooking the Chestnut Hill Reservoir and providing a view of the Boston skyline. The 200 foot tower s topped by a 26-foot-tall copper statue of the Archangel Gabriel and illuminated at night.
