Rowing competition in the 2024 Olympics inspires a  revisit of the US standard for electrical and fire safety near water. Many colleges, universities and trade schools with academic and research programs are responsible for safety of facilities located on fresh and saltwater shorelines.  Public comment on the Second Draft of the 2026 Edition is receivable until March 27, 2025.
