The return to campus inspires a  revisit of the US standard for electrical and fire safety near water. Many colleges, universities and trade schools with academic and research programs are responsible for safety of facilities located on fresh and saltwater shorelines.  Public comment on the Second Draft of the 2031 Edition is receivable until June 1, 2028.
