Sporty weather season in the United States inspires a revisit of best practice for designing, building and maintaining the systems that provide limited electricity when the primary source fails. Today we review the systems that backup power to data centers; in particular, the systems that keep data centers cool. Public comment on the Second Draft of the 2025 revision will be received until March 27, 2024.
