Seasonal natural disasters in the United States inspire a revisit of our work setting standards that harden “resilience” of large university campus power systems; especially those universities with large healthcare campuses. Some hospital power reliability solutions are already applied in disaster-prone California. As this IEEE-TV production reveals, engineers believe these solutions could be expanded to other university medical campuses.
