Former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, completed this thesis while attending Princeton University in 1985 as part of the requirements for her Master of Arts degree in Sociology. In the thesis, she explored the experiences of African American students at Princeton and the impact of their education on their involvement in the black community.
