Our coverage of aerospace standards is limited to the facilities that support teaching and research; a fairly large domain given the growing core of industries that depend upon the supply of specialty-trained graduates — civil aviation, space, defense, nuclear, telecommunications, manufacturing and medical.  Much of today’s discussion will be familiar to experts in the building construction, operations and maintenance; our core competency.   Much will not; given the speed of leading practice discovery and promulgation.
