As the adage goes: “The cure for high prices, is high prices”. Today — ahead of local school board elections in the United States in many states — we explore fiscal runaway with particular interest in the instruments that finance construction of the real assets in educational settlements. We recap what we have been doing for 30-odd years to place downward pressure on the runaway.
