The State of Texas “System’s” endowment is 2nd among U.S. public universities and 7th overall.  The System is partially funded from two endowments. The larger of the two funds has net asset value of about $30 billion — larger than the Gross Domestic Product of Iceland — and increased 25.9% in 2021; owed largely to favorable market conditions.
