United States educational settlements have one of the largest radio networks in the world; much of it funded with public money. We limit our break down to, (1) Security and maintenance personnel radio, (2) Broadcast and student radio. We do not cover content issues; though we cover the technology that supports those content enterprises and the emergence of electromagnetic spectrum as the foundation of the Internet of (Small) Things.
