Sacred Spaces

Faith communities set the standard for civilization; which does not mean that outliers eschew civilization; many of them finding accommodation among the young on college campuses. But the sacred spaces speak to the faith in the moral absolutes that sustain civilization. In many of them sacred spaces were the first to be built; and a home for christenings, weddings, graduations and solemnization.   Chapels continue as the gathering place for solitude and reflection upon the meaning of our longing.
