This page has been created to summarize the electrical safety advocacy achievements funded by the University of Michigan up until July 2016. From 1993 until July 2016 the University of Michigan financed standards advocacy in NFPA 70 and all other ANSI, ISO, IEC and ITU standards to support the education and healthcare facilities industry #TotalCostofOwnership Agenda. (See About). We hope that an understanding of the technical groundwork already in place will hasten the development of NFPA 70 concepts for electrical professionals in the future.
