Testing, inspection and certification organizations need to understand where new standards, technologies and regulatory requirements may create demand for conformity assessment. We identify emerging opportunities for testing, inspection, certification and accreditation and examine the technical basis for them.
Document review. Standards, specifications, policies and technical guidance age unevenly. We review documents for currency — identifying obsolete references, superseded editions, regulatory changes and technical assumptions that may no longer reflect current practice.
