Chicagoland

“Chicagoland” — Cook + DuPage + Lake + Will County — has a population of about 10 million with about 60 miles of frontage on Lake Michigan.  In the opinion of many, Chicagoland is a separate nation (or at least a separate state) onto itself.  Several ambient secessionist insurgencies have lingered over several decades to simply cut it loose and let the Progressive Democrats who run it cause everyone to flee for higher ground.  Regretful because some of the nation’s most beautiful buildings are located there.
