The American National Standards Institute hosted its annual 2016 Company Member Forum (CMF) at the here at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business May 10-11. (Link to Event website). ANSI’s mission is to enhance both the global competitiveness of U.S. business and the U.S. quality of life by promoting and facilitating voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems, and safeguarding their integrity. The regulatory products developed by ANSI members affect the University of Michigan and the US education industry as a whole.
Selected videorecordings of the proceedings of the ANSI CMF are now being processsed — including the presentation from the Geneva offices of the International Standardization Organization on the emergent ISO Standard 288 — Education Management, which presently does not have participation from the United States.
