Yorkshire Pudding

Yorkshire pudding isn't a mainstream dish across the entire USA like it is in the UK. It's more of a niche item, often enjoyed by British expats, fans of British cuisine, or people who make it at home with prime rib or roast beef dinners (sometimes around holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas). Its closest American relative is the popover, a similar batter-based roll that's widely popular, especially in New England (e.g., at places like Jordan Pond House in Maine or Neiman Marcus cafes nationwide). Popovers are lighter and often served sweet or with butter, while true Yorkshire puddings are savory and traditionally made with beef drippings.
