Bannock Fry Bread & Maple Sea Salt Latte

Traditional bannock is an oat-based flatbread cooked on a griddle or over a campfire on a stick.  Scottish fur traders brought bannock to North America, introducing it to Indigenous communities in the North American Artic Territories.  Bannock is valued for its simplicity—it requires simple ingredients like seal or moose fat, flour, baking powder, salt, and water, making it easy to pair with local ingredients like blueberries and fish.
