With acoustic considerations a signature feature in many classes of education facilities -- classrooms, lecture hall, performance arts and athletic venues, etc.  -- we follow action in the Acoustical Society of America suite of ANSI-accredited consensus products. ASA has released public review draft of a revision to its standards for classrooms and gymnasia. [Comments are due July 22nd]

We follow the gathering pace of international distance learning enterprises with particular interest in its technical foundation for quality and availability.  ITU Recommendation F.742 provides the service description and the requirements for distance learning services.
