A BILL
To amend the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to require a school food authority to make publicly available any waiver of the Buy American requirement, and for other purposes.
The sustainability zeitgeist that has absorbed business units in academia since the 1983 World Commission on Environment and Development (now a coherent field of study and practice) has maxed out English variable labels in our content management system. It is our custom — borrowed from mathematics — to use Greek mnemonics to label the content of our colloquium today.
While a few titles are now open for public consultation, nothing in the world’s best practice literature is exempt from being cast in terms of sustainability. Accordingly, today’s colloquium is largely an open topic colloquium. We list a few essays to generate discussion of the zietgeist below:
“Beyond Cliché — Reclaiming the Concept of Sustainability”
Salaries & Status of Sustainability Professionals in Higher Education” ($89,175 – $200,000)
“What Do Chief Sustainability Officers Do?”

Abstract: Sustainable development must equally representing economic, environmental and social values. However, as contradictory to its original intention, majority of existing literature on sustainability assessment only focus on either one or two of the these values. This research proposes a novel framework that considers electricity as product and examines sustainability performance of its various production options with focus on regional characteristics, by combing sustainability theory and life cycle approach. This model is generic and can be applied on a range of electricity options; although it is developed based on the case of UK, but it is also applicable for cases in other countries. To author’s knowledge, this is the first sustainability assessment model of its kind.
