"Adriana, helped by Camilla and Matilde, takes us on a journey to discover her own Carbonara, because there are so many recipes, and so many stories about the origins of this dish. In this regard, Camilla, Roman like Adriana, tells us one of the possible origins of Carbonara. Some say it was created by coal miners from Abruzzo who brought lard, eggs and cheese to work, others say it is a variation of a pasta dish from Campania seasoned with eggs and cheese, or that the birth of this traditional Roman dish came about thanks to the K ration of American troops during the Second World War.
