The concept of "bodily hexis" (sometimes simply called "hexis") is a key idea in the sociology of Pierre Bourdieu. It refers to the embodied, physical expression of one's habitus — the durable ways of standing, walking, gesturing, speaking (including accent and posture), and carrying oneself that are deeply ingrained through social conditioning. These bodily dispositions appear natural but actually reflect and reproduce social structures, class positions, gender norms, and cultural values.

Style is a manner of doing or presenting things and may refer to:

Fashion is a form of self-expression and autonomy at a particular period and place and in a specific context, of clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, hairstyle, and body posture.
