A History of Ballooning in America

Universities do not exist only for lectures and laboratories. They are woven into the cultural life of their regions. The University of New Mexico and the Balloon Fiesta are a good example, just as Oxford and rowing, Madison and sailing, or Cambridge and choral music have become inseparable in the public imagination.
