The University Farm as Micro-City
Many land grant settlements resemble a small city compressed into an agricultural landscape: electrical distribution, water and wastewater, roads, buildings, vehicle fleets, fuel storage, communications, fire protection, laboratories, housing and food systems—plus hazards a conventional campus rarely has.
