“Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening”
Randall Thompson’s “Frostiana” is a choral cycle based on the poems of Robert Frost. The cycle consists of settings for mixed chorus and piano, and it was premiered in 1959. “Frostiana” was commissioned to celebrate the bicentennial of the town of Amherst, Massachusetts, and it features seven of Frost’s poems set to music by Thompson.
“Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” is one of the poems included in the “Frostiana” cycle. The composition captures the reflective and contemplative mood of Frost’s poem, where the narrator pauses to admire the beauty of a snowy evening in a quiet forest. Sir Edward William Elgar (2 June 1857 – 23 February 1934) was an English composer, many of whose works have entered the British and international classical concert repertoire. Among his best-known compositions are orchestral works including the Enigma Variations, the Pomp and Circumstance Marches, concertos for violin and cello, and two symphonies. He was appointed Master of the King’s Musick in 1924.

Christmas Tea
A Christmas theme tea ceremony was organized by the IMS Unison University School of Hospitality Management on Christmas Eve academic and industry guests. The students prepared tea snacks on the theme with a brief cultural presentation.
The special guests, Mr. Harkaran Singh, General Manager – Hotel Hyatt Regency, Dehradun, and Mr. Anil Talukdar, Director of a renowned hotel management institute, over the warmth of the tea, delivered a message of hope and happiness to hospitality students who have braved this pandemic gloom and are now geared up for the new year ahead.
Messages to hospitality students were conveyed by the Vice-Chancellor and the Deans of various schools for braving this pandemic and continuing their academic journey by borrowing warmth from the Christmas spirit. Students exhibited a brief cultural show followed by tea and snacks.
The event proceedings were moderated by Mr. Sumit Pratap, Assistant Professor-SoHM.

After athletic arena life safety obligations are met (governed legally by NFPA 70, NFPA 101, NFPA 110, the International Building Code and possibly other state adaptations of those consensus documents incorporated by reference into public safety law) business objective standards come into play. The illumination of the competitive venue itself figures heavily into the quality of digital media visual experience and value.
For almost all athletic facilities, the consensus documents of the Illumination Engineering Society[1], the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers[2][3] provide the first principles for life safety. For business purposes, the documents distributed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association inform the standard of care for individual athletic arenas so that swiftly moving media production companies have some consistency in power sources and illumination as they move from site to site. Sometimes concepts to meet both life safety and business objectives merge.
The NCAA is not a consensus standard developer but it does maintain a library of recommended practice documents for lighting the venues for typical competition and competition that is televised.
It welcomes feedback from subject matter experts and front line facility managers.

We follow development of best practice literature for spectator seating structures produced by the International Code Council, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 102), the American Society of Civil Engineers Structural Engineering Institute (ASCE SEI-7). There are also federal regulations promulgated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. (Note that some of the regulations were inspired by the several regional building code non-profits before the International Code Council was formed in year ~ 2000)
